Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
About The Position
WellNow Urgent Care is hiring a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide quality healthcare to urgent care patients and Occupational Health clients. Providers work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, high-volume urgent care environment, managing adult and pediatric patients and diagnosing and treating a wide range of ailments. The role contributes to a positive, supportive medical community. There are no on-call responsibilities. Salary starts at $78 per hour for qualified candidates, and a $20,000 signing bonus is offered to qualified Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in emergency medicine or 18 months of experience in a high-volume urgent care setting, including the ability to manage adult and pediatric patients.
- Licensure as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner in the state where applying.
- Physician Assistants must hold active board certification with NCCPA.
- Family Nurse Practitioners must hold active board certification with AANP or ANCC.
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 years of experience in emergency medicine or 3 years of experience in a high-volume urgent care setting, including the ability to manage adult and pediatric patients.
