About The Position

This part-time (12 hours/week), Physician Assistant (PA-C) role is ideal for a provider who values flexibility while still making a meaningful impact in a mission-driven outpatient setting. Based in Rockland, ME, you will support patients engaged in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment through a blend of in-person care and remote follow-up.

Requirements

  • Current and active state license as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) in the state of operation.
  • Certified in Psychiatry Preferred
  • Active DEA Registration (Schedules II, III C) with the ability/waiver to prescribe buprenorphine.
  • Active Medicaid and Medicare credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Complete admission, readmission, and annual physicals; review labs with patients.
  • Issue medication change orders (including verbal orders per state rules) and ensure accurate nursing follow-through.
  • Review, complete, and sign required clinical documentation and reports.
  • Train and support nursing staff to ensure safe, consistent clinical practice.
