About The Position

Works collaboratively with primary care physicians within the clinic, orthopedic surgeon and general surgeon to provide quality patient care in the outpatient setting.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required.
• Successful completion of certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
• Current licensure in the State of Iowa as a Physician Assistant.
• Three years' experience in an outpatient setting required.
• Surgical experience required.
• BLS within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively with primary care physicians within the clinic, orthopedic surgeon and general surgeon to provide quality patient care in the outpatient setting.
• Attain privileges for delegated medical functions.
