About The Position
Care United Medical Center is looking for a Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work in a very fast paced urgent care facility. PRN shifts are needed (1 to 2 shifts per week) with the possibility of becoming full time. The hours of operation are 8am – 7:00pm Monday - Friday; Saturday 8am - 4pm; Sunday 10am - 4pm. Shift hours vary and may require some weekend coverage. This role is within the Radiology Department / Laboratory / Occupational Health.
Requirements
- State medical license
- 2 years of experience minimum
- Board eligibility or certification
- Experience in procedures including suturing and splinting
- Experience reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs
- BLS Certification
- Comfortable treating all ages
- Positive attitude and team player
- Ability to work well with other providers/nurse practitioners/physician assistants/staff
Nice To Haves
- Experience treating worker's compensation cases
- Providing DOT physicals
