About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our radiology team in a hospital-based setting. This is a part-time position focused on weekend contrast coverage.
Requirements
- Current Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in the state of New Jersey required
- NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants or national board certification for Nurse Practitioners required
- BLS certification required
- Strong vascular access/IV placement skills required
Nice To Haves
- Prior radiology, outpatient imaging, infusion, urgent care, or procedural experience preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients receiving contrast and assess for any adverse reactions
- Provide timely clinical intervention when needed
- Collaborate closely with radiology technologists and imaging staff
- Support safe and efficient patient flow within the department
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
