About The Position
Methodist Medical Group (MMG) is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their new Express Care clinic in Red Oak, TX. This role involves working collaboratively with a team of providers to offer exceptional patient care. MMG, affiliated with Methodist Health System in Dallas, TX, is a leading multi-specialty physician organization with a mission to improve lives through compassionate, quality healthcare. The clinic serves patients from 0-99 years of age with non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries.
Requirements
- Board Certified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Active Texas medical license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work from Monday – Friday, 2p – 10p and weekends from 9a – 6p
- Must be able to see all ages
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Nice To Haves
- Previous PA experience in Acute Care, Primary Care, Urgent Care or Emergency Department setting, highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients from 0-99 yrs of age with a variety of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries
- Perform physical exams, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Perform minor procedures as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes
