Express Care APP needed for Red Oak, TX
About The Position
Methodist Medical Group (MMG), a premier physician-led organization affiliated with Methodist Health System in Dallas, Texas, is actively seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our newly established Express Care clinic in Red Oak, TX. This role involves collaborating with a team of providers to deliver exceptional patient care. MMG is a leading, multi-specialty physician organization with a mission to improve lives through compassionate, quality healthcare. The organization has over 380 employed providers across seven acute-care hospitals and over 95 clinics, serving the southern Dallas and Ellis County communities.
Requirements
- Board Certified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Active Texas medical license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work from Monday – Friday, 2p – 10p and weekends from 9a – 6p
- Previous PA experience in Acute Care, Primary Care, Urgent Care or Emergency Department setting, highly preferred
- Must be able to see all ages
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients from 0-99 years of age with a variety of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries.
- Perform physical exams, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
- Perform minor procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
