OnSite Dermatology PA/NP - Part Time
About The Position
OnSite Dermatology is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with medical dermatology experience for a part-time position, 2 to 3 days per week, serving communities in NEwington, CT. This role involves providing mobile dermatology services to seniors in retirement communities and nursing homes, focusing on the detection and treatment of various skin conditions including pre-cancers, cancerous growths, inflammation, scaling, infections, and other skin discomforts. The position offers the opportunity to work with an established patient base and make a significant impact by diagnosing untreated skin cancers in a vulnerable, underserved population. OnSite Dermatology is a growing national practice with a proven business model, offering more autonomy than traditional settings, and supported by a fully staffed back office for administrative tasks like appointment management, insurance verification, and billing. A cloud-based, dermatology-specific EMR system is utilized.
Requirements
- 1-year medical dermatology experience required
- Valid state PA or NP License

- Geriatric experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform physical assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of a variety of dermatological disorders.
- Conduct full body skin exams.
- Perform biopsies.
- Perform cryotherapy.
- Perform ED&C (Electrosurgery and Curettage).
