About The Position

MyMichigan Health has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the School Based Care program in Alma Public Schools. This is a full-time position with 3 days spent in the Alma school clinic and 2 days in the Breckenridge Family Medicine office. The Alma School Based Clinic sees an average of 8 patients per day and is open year-round for students of the school district. The Family Medicine Breckenridge office handles acute visits typical of walk-in clinics, with no patient panel and no call requirement.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
• AHA approved BLS Certification.
• Active State of Michigan License or eligible to apply.

Nice To Haves

• Experience preferred, new graduates will be considered.

Responsibilities

• See an average of 8 patients per day in the Alma School Based Clinic.
• Provide care in the Alma School Based Clinic which is open year-round for students.
• Handle acute visits typical of walk-in clinics at the Family Medicine Breckenridge office.
• Work 3 days in the Alma school clinic and 2 days in the Breckenridge Family Medicine office.
