About The Position

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant or Acute Care Certified Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Toledo, OH. In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up across Internal Medicine services. Working independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate demonstrates clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to evidence-based practice. This position operates on a 7 on 7 off Monday - Sunday Model. Support staff consists of 8 MD’s, 28 APP’s, 1 lead APP, and a Practice Director. You will deliver comprehensive medical care to patients 18+ years of age, including conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, and prescribing medication. You will develop individualized treatment plans based on patient history and medical assessments while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, coordinated care. You will also play a key role in educating patients on preventive care, healthy lifestyle choices, and disease management, contributing to the overall well-being of the community. This role is essential for 360 base care that Levis IM providers the community.

Requirements

  • Master of Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing (DNP) degree for Nurse Practitioner applicants.
  • Acute Care Certification for Nurse Practitioner applicants
  • Master’s degree for Physician Assistant applicants.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
  • Certificate of Authority to practice.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).
  • Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.
