About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - OB/GYN to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. Requirements

Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant.
Current certification issued by the NCCPA.
Must be ACLS/BLS certified.
DEA Certification.

Responsibilities

Non-surgical management of pelvic floor disorders, primarily urinary incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse.
Manages behavioral, medication, and in-office procedural aspects of patient care.
Provides pre- and post-operative care.
Performs common clinic procedures including pessary fittings, urodynamics, and general women’s healthcare procedures like pap smear screenings and biopsies.
Develops treatment plans in conjunction with the patient and attending physician to provide optimal patient medical management, including contraceptive devices.
Admits and discharges patients to and from the OB/Gyn Service.
