About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Physician Assistant - OB/GYN to join the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Requirements

Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant.
Current certification issued by the NCCPA.
Must be ACLS/BLS certified.
DEA Certification.

Responsibilities

Performs medical services within the scope of approved privileges.
Document all patient contact in the EMR in a timely manner.
Assumes responsibility for patient care.
Collaborates to provide care coordination activities in providing comprehensive care (e.g., other healthcare providers, local health departments, social service, nutritionist, dentist, community based organizations, home care and patient education groups).
Participates in departmental meetings and interdisciplinary community committees, as well as peer review performance improvement meeting activities.
Maintains expected standards of patient information confidentiality as per HIPAA policy.
