About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Physician Assistant - OB/GYN to join the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Lincoln Medical Center is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center with Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties. Requirements

• Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant.
• Current certification issued by the NCCPA.
• Must be ACLS/BLS certified.
• DEA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs medical services within the scope of approved privileges.
• Document all patient contact in the EMR in a timely manner.
• Assumes responsibility for patient care.
• Collaborates to provide care coordination activities in providing comprehensive care (e.g., other healthcare providers, local health departments, social service, nutritionist, dentist, community based organizations, home care and patient education groups).
• Participates in departmental meetings and interdisciplinary community committees, as well as peer review performance improvement meeting activities.
• Maintains expected standards of patient information confidentiality as per HIPAA policy.
