OnSite Dermatology - Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner - Part Time
About The Position
OnSite Dermatology is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with medical dermatology experience for a part-time position, 1-2 days per week, serving the Independence, OH area communities. This is a medically oriented role treating patients in retirement communities and nursing homes who would otherwise go without dedicated dermatology care. The role involves diagnosing untreated skin cancers and providing treatment for pre-cancers, cancerous growths, inflammation, scaling, infections, and other skin discomforts. You will have an established patient base and benefit from a fast-growing national practice with a proven business model, offering more autonomy than traditional settings. A fully staffed back office will manage appointments, insurance verification, and billing, and a cloud-based dermatology-specific EMR will be utilized.
Requirements
- 1-year medical dermatology experience required.
- Valid state PA or NP License.
Nice To Haves
- Geriatric experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of a variety of dermatological disorders.
- Conduct full body skin exams.
- Perform biopsies.
- Perform cryotherapy.
- Perform ED&C (Electrosurgery and Curettage).
