OnSite Dermatology - Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner - Part Time
About The Position
OnSite Dermatology is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with medical dermatology experience for a part-time position, working 1-3 days per week, serving the San Diego area communities. This role involves providing mobile dermatology services to seniors in retirement communities and nursing homes, focusing on the detection and treatment of various skin conditions including pre-cancers, cancerous growths, inflammation, scaling, infections, and other skin discomforts. The position offers an established patient base and involves diagnosing untreated skin cancers to save lives within a vulnerable, underserved population. OnSite Dermatology is a fast-growing national practice with a proven business model, offering more autonomy than traditional settings, with a fully staffed back office for administrative support, insurance verification, and billing, utilizing a cloud-based, dermatology-specific EMR.
Requirements
- 1-year medical dermatology experience required.
- Valid state PA or NP License.
Nice To Haves
- Geriatric experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of a variety of dermatological disorders.
- Conduct full body skin exams.
- Perform biopsies.
- Perform cryotherapy.
- Perform ED&C.
