About The Position

The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner (PA/NP) plays a critical role in delivering high-quality healthcare services across diverse patient populations in the United States. This position involves conducting comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosing illnesses, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing ongoing care and education to patients. The PA/NP collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient management. Requirements

• Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in the United States.
• Graduation from an accredited PA or NP program with a master's degree or higher.
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or relevant NP certification board.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a specialty a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS or specialty-specific credentials.
• Strong background in patient education and chronic disease management.
• Participation in continuing medical education (CME) and professional development activities.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough physical examinations and obtain detailed patient histories to inform clinical decision-making.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions within the scope of practice and state regulations.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests such as lab work, imaging, and other procedures.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies.
• Provide patient education on disease prevention, health maintenance, and management of chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity.
• Document all patient encounters accurately and maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with medical research and clinical guidelines.
