About The Position

Sierra Pacific Orthopedics, a leading full-service orthopedic and spine group in the San Joaquin Valley, is seeking a full-time licensed PA/NP to join their Interventional Pain Management/Physiatry specialty practices. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and committed to service excellence for both patients and colleagues. This role focuses on treating acute and chronic pain in the spine and other joints through conservative methods. The physicians in this practice offer a broad range of treatment options, with a primary focus on procedures rather than medication. These treatments include, but are not limited to, spinal cord neurostimulation, balloon kyphoplasty, nerve ablations, and fluoroscopically-guided or ultrasound-guided injections (epidural and others). The position is primarily clinic-based with no on-call duties, though occasional fielding of patient calls outside of clinic hours may be necessary. A background in Pain Management, Physiatry, Musculoskeletal Injuries, or Primary Care is beneficial but not required.

Requirements

Full-time licensed PA/NP.

Responsibilities

Treating acute and chronic pain in the spine and other joints through conservative treatment.
Administering a wide array of treatment options, primarily procedural.
Performing spinal cord neurostimulation, balloon kyphoplasty, nerve ablations, and epidural and other fluoroscopically-guided as well as ultrasound-guided injections.
Working primarily in a clinic-based setting.
Fielding patient calls outside of non-clinic hours when necessary.
