About The Position

Olympia Orthopaedic Associates (OOA) is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to collaborate directly with a neurosurgeon specializing in back, neck, and spine surgeries. This role offers the chance to work in both clinical settings and assist in surgical procedures. Under the surgeon's guidance, the Physician Assistant will be responsible for patient examinations, administering medications, ordering medical and diagnostic tests, diagnosing illnesses, and providing counseling to patients and their families.

Requirements

• Active Physician Assistant license in the state of WA, or the ability to obtain one prior to hire.
• 2-3 years’ of Orthopaedic experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• 2-3 years’ of surgical assist experience, with a preference for neuro or spine surgery.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with a neurosurgeon specializing in back, neck, and spine surgeries.
