About The Position

Olympia Orthopaedic Associates is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to work directly with an established neurosurgeon specializing in surgery of the back, neck, and spine. The position includes work in both clinic and surgical settings. Under a surgeon’s supervision, the Physician Assistant examines patients, administers drugs, orders medical and diagnostic testing, diagnoses illnesses, and counsels patients and their families.

The position is based in Olympia, Washington. The employer describes the area as being between Seattle and Portland, with access to outdoor activities and a moderate cost of living.

Requirements

• An active Physician Assistant license in Washington state, or the ability to obtain one before hire.
• Two to three years of orthopaedic experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Two to three years of surgical-assist experience.

Nice To Haves

• Neuro or spine surgery experience is preferred.
