About The Position

Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking a Neonatal Physician Assistant for their practice at Golisano Children’s Hospital in Southwest Florida. This role involves high-acuity neonatal care in a state-of-the-art facility. The practice includes a 70-bed Level III NICU, with two facilities in the health system. Responsibilities include attending coverage in the Level III NICU and occasional Level I coverage with well-baby care. A full range of subspecialty services are available, excluding cardiovascular surgery and ECMO. The position offers 12-hour shifts with an option for 24-hour shifts based on experience. The team consists of 10 Neonatologists and 10 NNPs, with a strong focus on developmentally sensitive, family-centered care. The hospital is part of the Lee Health system and is the only children's hospital between Tampa and Miami. Golisano Children's Hospital is a 135-bed facility opened in 2017 and is home to Southwest Florida’s only state-designated Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Unit. It has been recognized as a Top Children’s Hospital by The Leapfrog Group multiple times. Requirements

• Current certification through National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Minimum of a master’s degree
