About The Position

EvergreenHealth is currently recruiting a full-time General Surgery Physician Assistant to join their Surgical Care Team at EvergreenHealth Medical Center in Kirkland, WA. This position involves a high volume of acute surgical cases with daily dedicated OR availability. The Physician Assistant will practice with a team of six board-certified surgeons specializing in minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic and robotic assisted), colorectal, foregut, endocrine, complex abdominal wall hernia repairs, and breast surgery. The role benefits from referrals from over 80 primary care providers within the Medical Group. While experienced physicians with leadership experience are preferred, new graduates are also welcome to apply. The practice utilizes a Center of Excellence, evidence-based/standardized approach. EvergreenHealth Medical Group (EHMG) is a physician-led group of over 350 physicians and specialists who are employees of EvergreenHealth. EHMG includes 12 primary care practices, 48 specialty practices, and dedicated hospitalist and intensivist teams. Requirements

Full-time General Surgery Physician Assistant.
Experienced physician preferred with leadership experience, but new grads are welcome to apply.
Laparoscopic and robotic experience is helpful / strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide surgical care within the scope of practice for a General Surgery Physician Assistant.
Manage a high volume of acute surgical cases.
Participate in daily dedicated OR availability.
Collaborate with a team of six board-certified surgeons specializing in various surgical areas.
Utilize laparoscopic and robotic assisted surgical techniques.
Perform procedures related to minimally invasive surgery, colorectal, foregut, endocrine, complex abdominal wall hernia repairs, and breast surgery.
Work within a Center of Excellence, evidence-based/standardized approach.
Contribute to the collaborative and compassionate culture of EvergreenHealth Medical Group.
