POSITION DETAILS: · Full time schedule Monday-Friday with shared call. · Support General, Colorectal, Foregut & HPB surgeons with both OR assist and clinical · Full Benefits Package including health, life, vision, dental, 401K, CME and malpractice · Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments · Manage patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings · Provide education and counseling to patients and their families · Plan treatment and document using EPIC EMR

Requirements

• The Physician Assistant (“PA”) will be licensed as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times.
• Master's degree Physician Assistant required.
• The PA will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.
• The PA’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.
• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
• PA Certification and Texas license required.
