POSITION DETAILS: · Full time schedule Monday-Friday with shared call. · Support General, Colorectal, Foregut & HPB surgeons with both OR assist and clinical · Full Benefits Package including health, life, vision, dental, 401K, CME and malpractice · Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments · Manage patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings · Provide education and counseling to patients and their families · Plan treatment and document using EPIC EMR The Physician Assistant (“PA”) will be licensed as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times. Master's degree Physician Assistant required. The PA will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure. The PA’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • PA Certification and Texas license required.
  • Master's degree Physician Assistant required.
