Locum - Physician Assistant (PA) - Gastroenterology
About The Position
This is a locum tenens position for a Physician Assistant specializing in Gastroenterology. The role is hospital-based, focusing on inpatient care for an adult patient population. The schedule involves a 7-on, 7-off rotation, with working hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Sunday through Saturday. There is no overnight call, and the provider will handle initial contact via beeper or phone during their shift. The expected patient volume is 20-25 patients per day in a Level 1 trauma facility. Responsibilities include conducting consults and follow-up visits, and scheduling/preparing for endoscopy procedures. The EMR system used is EPIC.
Requirements
- Board Certified
- Active Ohio Medical License
- BLS Certification
