About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our busy practice in Crown Point, IN located at Franciscan Health Crown Point and meet the growing demand for services in northern Indiana. The physician will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care. Time will be split between clinic and hospital. Requirements

  • Doctorate Required
  • Physician License (MD/DO) - Upon Hire Required
  • Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities

  • Focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
  • Display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients.
  • Work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
  • Split time between clinic and hospital.
  • Participate in a 1:4 call rotation.
  • See an average of 15-20 outpatients per day.
  • Perform an average of 20+ procedures per day.
  • Offer telehealth visits.
