About The Position

Lake Odessa Family Medicine is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join their busy practice. This role serves patients across all generations and is part of a team-based care model that includes Behavioral Health, Pharmacists, Social Workers, and experienced medical assistants. Ancillary services such as laboratory, x-ray, and PT/OT are available within the clinic. Requirements

  • Master's Degree (for both NP and PA)
  • For Nurse Practitioners: Education and certification obtained after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
  • 3 years of relevant experience (for NP)
  • Current, relevant clinical experience (for NP)
  • Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner (for NP)
  • LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan (for NP)
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) (for NP and PA)
  • CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) (for NP and PA)
  • CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) (for NP and PA)
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program (for PA)
  • LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan (for PA)
  • CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (for PA)

Nice To Haves

  • 2-5 years of experience preferred.
