Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant
About The Position
We are seeking a Physician Assistant specializing in Emergency Medicine for a Locum Tenens position in Roanoke Rapids & Lumberton, NC. This outpatient role involves providing care to adult and pediatric patients, with an average daily volume of 40. The case mix includes urgent care for adults and pediatrics. The provider will serve as the sole provider in the center, treating all patients and performing minor procedures. Epic EMR system will be utilized for all patient visits. A positive attitude and commitment to high-quality healthcare are essential. Required EMR training and onboarding must be completed prior to the first solo shift.
Requirements
- Board Certified / NCCPA / NP Boards
- Active NC license
- Active NC DEA
- BLS, PA Cert, Family NP Cert
- Minimum 12 months of experience required
Responsibilities
- Serve as the sole provider in the Center, treating all patients.
- Perform minor procedures including I&D, Lac repair, and Ear irrigation.
- Utilize Epic EMR for all patient visits.
- Maintain a positive attitude and embody the culture of providing high-quality health care.
- Participate in required EMR training and onboarding prior to first solo shift.
