About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine to join the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital, which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults. Requirements

Current New York State registration as a Physician Assistant
Current certification issued by the NCCPA

Responsibilities

Responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
Complete an appropriate assessment and develop a treatment plan under the supervision of the Attending Physician.
The full-time associate is expected to work three 12-hour clinical shifts each week in various areas of the Department, including the Main ED and Fast Track.
