About The Position

This is a critical care position. Candidate should have invasive procedural skills and invasive and non-invasive respiratory support experience. Under the general or direct supervision of the Physician-In-Charge or designee, the Physician's Assistant (PA) will perform the following duties and be further guided by the specific Delineation of Privileges. Requirements

  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and the clinical aspects of patient care at a level normally acquired through completion of an approved Physician's Assistant Program culminating in a Bachelors degree of Science.
  • Three to five years of previous work related experience.
  • Licensure as a Physician's Assistant by the State of New Jersey.
  • Analytical ability to resolve highly complex problems requiring the application of scientific or technical principles, theories and concepts and in-depth experienced-based knowledge.
  • Ability to develop and write instructional/training materials, prepare detailed assessments of patient referrals, conduct individual or group therapy sessions, or perform other duties requiring a comparable level of communication skill.
  • Direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients.
