About The Position

Gould Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist for their practice in Los Banos, CA. This is a physician-only practice that provides comprehensive anesthesia care across a variety of surgical cases. The group consists of over 25 experienced and collaborative partners. The practice handles a wide range of surgical specialties including general, orthopedics, trauma, neurosurgery, cardiac, thoracic, obstetrics, and plastics. There are ample opportunities for regional anesthesia, invasive line placement, and managing complex surgical patients. The department has a strong working relationship with surgeons, RNS, and hospital administration. The primary work location is Memorial Hospital Los Banos, a 46-bed community hospital. Epic is used as the EHR system.

Requirements

• BE/BC Anesthesiologist
• Experience in OB Anesthesia
• Ability to work 205 shifts per year (121 on-call shifts and 84 hour shifts).
• Experience with Epic EHR system.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in trauma, cardiac, or NICU.
• Experience in limited ICU care.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional anesthesia care to a wide spectrum of patients.
• Perform regional anesthesia.
• Place invasive lines.
• Participate in the care of complex surgical patients.
• Provide anesthesia for OB cases.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, RNS, and hospital administration.
