About The Position

Vituity is seeking Board Eligible/Certified Anesthesiology physicians to join their team in San Jose, California. This role offers an opportunity to work in an academic setting and is ideal for candidates interested in working with current residents. The position is at the Regional Medical Center of San Jose, a Level III Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Stroke Center, which performs over 1700 surgical cases annually. The case mix includes Regional, Ortho, Trauma, Thoracic, Vascular, some Neuro, rare Peds, and some outpatient procedures. Call is every 7th night on weekdays and weekends. Requirements

• Board Eligible/Certified Anesthesiology physicians.
• Current CA state license is a plus.
• Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesiology services at Regional Medical Center of San Jose.
• Participate in call duties, including every 7th night on weekdays and weekends.
• Manage a case mix including Regional, Ortho, Trauma, Thoracic, Vascular, some Neuro, rare Peds, and some outpatient procedures.
• Work in an academic setting and potentially with current residents.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
