Physical Therapy Technician - Part Time
About The Position
Ozark Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine/Integrity Rehab Group, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Technician for its Bentonville, Arkansas team. The Technician is an unlicensed associate who works under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist and follows applicable state practice acts and company policies and procedures. The role supports patient care through clinic preparation, assistance with prescribed exercises and basic treatments, cleaning, and administrative tasks. The position calls for strong organizational skills and attentive insight to help provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Organizational detail and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency using computers and ability to learn new software programs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
- Assist and/or observe patients performing prescribed therapy exercises and document their responses to treatment.
- Perform basic prescribed treatments, such as applying ice packs and heat pads as instructed.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and therapy areas, and change and launder linens.
- Assist with patient intake, answer phone calls, and schedule patient appointments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
