About The Position

BenchMark Physical Therapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Technician to join its team in Dallas, Georgia. The Technician is an unlicensed associate who works under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist. The role operates in accordance with state Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy Practice Acts and company policies and procedures. Technicians use organizational skills and attentive insight to support exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Organizational detail and ability to multitask.
• Proficiency using computers and ability to learn new software programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
• Assist with and/or observe patients performing prescribed therapy exercises and document their responses to treatment.
• Perform basic prescribed treatments, such as applying ice packs and heat pads, as instructed.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and therapy areas, and change and launder linens.
• Perform administrative tasks, including assisting with patient intake, answering phone calls, and scheduling patient appointments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
