About The Position

SERC Physical Therapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Technician to join its outpatient clinic team in Blue Springs, Missouri. The technician is an unlicensed associate who works under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist and follows applicable state practice acts and company policies and procedures. Strong organizational skills and attentive insight support the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Organizational detail and ability to multitask.
• Proficiency using computers and ability to learn new software programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
• Assist and/or observe patients performing prescribed therapy exercises and document their responses to treatment.
• Perform basic prescribed treatments, such as applying ice packs and heat pads, as instructed.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and therapy areas, and change and launder linens.
• Assist with patient intake, answer phone calls, and schedule patient appointments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
