About The Position

Beacon Orthopaedics, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Technician for its clinic in Erlanger, Kentucky. The Technician is an unlicensed associate who works under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist and follows applicable state practice acts and company policies and procedures. The role requires organizational skills and attentive insight to support exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Organizational detail and ability to multitask.
• Proficiency using computers and ability to learn new software programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
• Assist and/or observe patients performing prescribed therapy exercises and document their responses to treatment.
• Perform basic prescribed treatments, such as applying ice packs and heat pads, as instructed.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and therapy areas, and change and launder linens.
• Perform administrative tasks, including assisting with patient intake, answering phone calls, and scheduling patient appointments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
