The Department of Physical Therapy in the School of Health at Rehabilitation Sciences at the MGH Institute of Health Professions invites applications for a 12-month, 1.0 FTE Instructor/Assistant Professor Faculty with primary responsibilities in clinical education. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the design and management of clinical education courses, contributing to the development of students as clinicians in all domains of professional clinical practice, and contributing to the development of clinical education faculty as clinical teachers, mentors, and practitioners. As a member of the physical therapy faculty there are also responsibilities related to advising, scholarship, and service. The position will also include clinical teaching in the Marjorie K. Ionta Physical Therapy Center for Clinical Education and Health Promotion. The PT Center is a pro bono center dedicated to clinical education that offers comprehensive services to individuals in the community who may not otherwise have access to physical therapy care or those whose insurance benefits have expired but still need continued therapy.
