Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current California PTA license in good standing.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Assist residents in improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
- Carry out individualized treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
- Monitor resident progress and communicate findings to the Physical Therapist.
- Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
