Physical Therapy Assistant
About The Position
Community Health at Home is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to serve patients in their homes in central and southern Marion County and Johnson County, Indiana. The PTA helps patients regain independence by improving mobility, strength, and overall functional abilities. The role works collaboratively with the physical therapist, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care and achieve established goals. The position uses NestMed ambient AI technology. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no after-hours on-call requirements.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
- Active registered PTA license in the state of practice.
- Obtain and maintain current CPR/BLS certification.
- One year of Physical Therapy Assistant experience in a clinical setting.
- Current driver’s license and automobile insurance.
- Comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
