Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) PRN
About The Position
Powerback is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a PRN role at Park View Nursing and Subacute in Reseda, California. The PTA implements physical therapy programs and activities, follows established recovery plans, and delivers therapy treatments to help patients restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities. The role focuses on individualized, patient-centered care delivered in a caring and compassionate atmosphere, while collaborating with peers and making referrals when needed to support patients’ recovery and well-being. Powerback Rehabilitation provides recovery, rehabilitation, respiratory, and wellness services through integrated and individualized solutions intended to help patients regain their abilities and improve how they feel, move, breathe, and live. The posted salary range is $45.00–$48.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.
Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy programs and activities.
- Follow developed patient recovery plans.
- Deliver therapy treatments to help restore, reinforce, and enhance patients’ physical abilities.
- Address each patient as an individual and adapt care to the patient’s needs.
- Collaborate with peers and make referrals to help patients obtain appropriate care.
- Provide patient-first service to patients and their families in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
