About The Position

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate, skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The role involves helping patients with mobility, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities, while observing and documenting progress and communicating updates to the supervising Physical Therapist. The PTA also helps maintain a safe, clean, supportive treatment environment and contributes to a collaborative workplace.

The position is PRN and as needed, with a stated schedule of 0800–1630 Monday through Friday; weekends and holidays may be needed. Candidates must have an associate degree from an accredited PTA program, a current PTA license in the state of practice, and CPR certification. Previous rehabilitation or acute care experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with mobility, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities.
• Observe and document patient progress and report updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Help ensure a safe, clean, and supportive treatment environment.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace and perform additional duties as needed.
