About The Position

Under the direction of the Physical Therapist, incumbents independently initiate and perform patient treatments using various procedures, modalities and instructions. In addition, will perform related patient care activities such as removing and reapplying dressings, providing transportation, providing patient education, completing daily progress notes, and ensuring accurate charge entry. Prepares schedules for patients' treatment and cleans and disinfects equipment as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
Must possess current valid Physical Therapy Assistant License.
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
Minimum 1 year experience working in an acute rehab setting as a physical therapy assistant.
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization.
Must be able to provide proof of work authorization.

Responsibilities
