Requirements
- Certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (CPTA) from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or registration as required
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
- Ability to adapt to different patient needs and treatment plans
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and home care routines
- Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards
