About The Position
Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Assistant administers physical therapy services and performs related duties. The role provides technical support to ensure effective and efficient delivery of therapy services. The Rehabilitation teams evaluate and treat patients experiencing injuries or conditions that have resulted in a decline in physical mobility or functional independence. Services include orthopedic rehabilitation, neurological and stroke rehabilitation, balance and dizziness rehabilitation, and chronic pain treatment through movement. The primary objective is to help patients return to functional independence and community activities.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience.
- Current, unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant license.
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Administer physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Perform related duties and provide technical support to support effective and efficient delivery of therapy services.
