About The Position

This role involves assisting a Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans, conducting therapeutic exercises, monitoring patient progress, educating patients and families, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with healthcare professionals across various settings.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and empathy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist, focusing on patient-centered care.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities to enhance patient recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and their families about exercises, techniques, and home care strategies to facilitate recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support patients in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, pediatrics, and home health environments.
