About The Position

Requirements
- Current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in New York State.
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of physical therapy modalities and therapeutic exercises.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration of physical therapy treatments as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Monitor patients' responses to treatment and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to support their recovery.
- Document patients’ progress and maintain accurate records for the physical therapy department.
- Maintain and clean therapy equipment to ensure a safe and effective treatment environment.
