Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to serve patients throughout the Methuen, MA area. Requirements

  • Current Massachusetts Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience
  • Afternoon availability

Nice To Haves

  • Previous home care experience
  • Monday–Friday availability

Responsibilities

  • Deliver physical therapy treatments in accordance with the established plan of care
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and home exercise programs
  • Assist patients in improving strength, balance, mobility, and overall function
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
