Participation in holiday rotation. 2-3 full weekends of coverage every month. Shifts 8-10hrs The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for administering the population specific treatment of inpatients and outpatients referred to Physical Therapy for retaining and regaining their highest functional level commiserate with their training and experience under the supervision and direction of the Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapist Assistant participates in the evaluation of programs and services, the evaluation and supervision of support personnel, participates in the education of students as Clinical Instructor when assigned, maintains personal and departmental professional competence, and maintains a "customer orientation" awareness while interacting with patient, families, and other professionals.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited 2 year Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Physical Therapy Assistant: GA (PTA:GA)
  • Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)

Responsibilities
