About The Position
Twin Oaks Health & Rehab is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join its interdisciplinary team at its retirement community in Lansing, Kansas. The role supports resident mobility and independence by providing patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The position involves working with a diverse population and collaborating with the therapy team and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists with patient evaluations, treatment plans, and implementation.
- Provide individualized physical therapy interventions, including exercises, modalities, and equipment-based treatments.
- Conduct daily treatment sessions, document patient progress, and report outcomes to the therapy team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress.
