About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a part-time or per diem opportunity performing home health visits for its Scotland County Visits office. The office serves adult and geriatric patients on a per-visit basis in territories throughout Moore County. The PTA assists clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being by providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
Requirements
- Current licensure or certification in North Carolina.
- Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as evidenced by a school transcript or diploma; or, for those initially qualified before December 31, 1977, two years of appropriate PTA experience and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service.
- At least one year of work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Provide home health visits to adult and geriatric patients on a per-visit basis.
- Provide treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Perform other activities as requested.
