PRN Physical Therapy Assistant
About The Position
Legacy Village Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time, on-call Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a pro re nata (PRN) position. This role involves providing weekend and intermittent weekday shift coverage, with weekend availability being a requirement. The PTA will implement physical therapy plans of care, document daily and progress notes, ensure seamless billing of treatments, and report patient progress, concerns, and changes. The position also involves engaging with a multidisciplinary team for conferences and discharge planning, and administering treatments such as transfer training, mobility enhancement, and strength exercises to improve patients' quality of life.
Requirements
- Professional or technical degree or equivalent in physical therapy.
- Graduate of a CAPTE Educational Program for Physical Therapist Assistants.
- Current license in good standing with the Utah DOPL.
- CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- High level of motivation.
- Weekend availability.

- Weekday availability is not required.
