About The Position
Sunnyview Rehab Hospital is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant for its onsite outpatient practice. Requirements
- A.S. Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current NYS Physical Therapy Assistant license
- Must be able to communicate effectively-verbally and written
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Current knowledge of treatment practices
Responsibilities
- Participate in the provision of physical therapy services by providing patient treatment under the direct, on-site supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- This includes a pediatric, adult and geriatric patient population.
- Demonstrate skill in the use and proper choice of physical therapy techniques and treats patients effectively with good response.
- Provide accurate and timely patient records.
